ZITARES wiz: Digital Z-COM interface for maximum and efficient lighting control
Simple, diverse and intelligent light: ZITARES wiz is the consistent further development of the ZITARES intelligent series of ECGs. As well as high flexibility regarding functions, the next generation also provides the ideal platform for decentral, intelligent lighting installations - "ingenious" in fact, as indicated by the name "wiz". The trade public can get to know all the benefits of smart light control with ZITARES wiz for the first time at Light+Building 2016 on the OEM Systems Group stand.
In addition to diverse configuration options and functions as already successfully implemented in the ZITARES intelligent series, the special feature of ZITARES wiz is the digital Z-COM interface. Thanks to an open protocol, luminaire producers are given diverse options to use own modules and sensors.
For example, ZITARES wiz together with a Bluetooth module makes it possible to control light wirelessly - completely without supplementary control lines between luminaires and operating elements. That cuts installation effort significantly. Such a concept also scores points because no additional controller is needed. This decentral approach makes expanding an existing installation highly simple at any time. In addition to Bluetooth modules, motion or daylight sensors can also be integrated according to requirements. The high speed of bidirectional communication between the ECG and connected components also provides lighting convenience without time delays.
Luminaire producers can take advantage of this new level of freedom for their own lighting solutions - simply, efficiently and with the possibility of directly utilising other systems via Z-COM. ZITARES wiz also features the complete range of benefits of the trusted ZITARES intelligent series. A wide variety of ECG functions and settings are simply implemented using the zitares360 software, including precise setting of output current, temperature-independent control of output current, compensation of LED degradation (CLO) and measuring the ECG temperature.
